Project Consulting for Artists

Elevate your project.

A creative career can be challenging to navigate solo, both in moments of stasis and development. You might be facing questions about the direction of a project, needing a specific technical skill, or looking to tighten a proposal to make an extra impact.

That’s where I come in as your Project Consultant, serving as a thought partner for an individual project or ongoing process. With a blend of insight and practical expertise, I offer more than just technical services—I provide a sounding board, a critical eye, warm encouragement, and a range of technical skills designed to elevate your work to its fullest potential.

Our work together begins with deep listening: I’m committed to understanding your vision and developing an effective path forward.

You might be:

  • embarking on a new body of work, project, or partnership and wanting to lay conceptual and organizational groundwork for the creative work ahead

  • almost finished with a project and ready to tighten and polish it before sharing it with the outside world

  • looking for ongoing support to stay on track with your studio goals

Whether you’re working on a new project, film, website, or application, I will offer fresh perspective, actionable feedback, and digital dexterity as you accomplish your goals.

I can provide technical support with:

  • graphic design

  • photo editing

  • video editing and effects

  • animation

  • writing

  • and more - just ask!

I am tech-friendly, and I can also assist you in navigating tricky digital challenges. Together, we can address file management, digital back-up strategies, and organizational systems.

How do we work together?

I am available to meet on Zoom for concentrated work on a specific project or ongoing weekly sessions.

I welcome your ideas or questions! Please contact me at meredith@northlightworks.com.

If you’re interested in working together, please reach out for a no-fee conversation to see if we’re a good fit!

My consulting practice grows organically out of many years of working with artists. What began as graphic design and video editing gigs evolved into larger conversations about the meaning and process of my client’s work.

I love being a part of the ways creative people think and move through their work, and I’m glad to offer this consultation service formally now.
